A new EMLE year begins at Erasmus University Rotterdam
On Monday, 5 October, Erasmus School of Law welcomed 27 students for their first term of the European Master in Law and Economics. The students are now getting to know the campus, their teachers and one another as they settle into university life in Rotterdam.
Erasmus University Rotterdam has been part of EMLE since its foundation in 1990. Today, the consortium brings together ten partner institutions.
For the students starting in Rotterdam, this first term marks the beginning of an academic journey across different countries and universities. Alongside studying the economic analysis of law, they will exchange perspectives with classmates from around the world and experience different approaches to teaching and research.
This international outlook reflects the spirit of Desiderius Erasmus, who travelled across Europe to study and work at different universities. More than three decades after EMLE began, academic mobility and exchange continue to shape the programme.
We wish our Rotterdam students a successful first term, lasting friendships and an inspiring EMLE year!
