LUMSA-FC Summer School

In the week of 13th until 17th of June, our partner university LUMSA has hosted the first edition of the Summer School on “Law, Economics and Ethics of Markets and Regulation”. Together with our new associate partner The University of Arizona, they have organized a whole week of lectures, workshops and presentations for our EMLE students and other attendees. The LUMSA-FC Summer school has examined the ever-evolving relationship between markets and regulation in the context of technological changes. Important speakers that have contributed to this event are Luigino Bruni, Pierre Garello, Cathleen Johnson, Saura Masconale, Antonio Nicita, Laura Palazzani, Federico Raimondi Slepoi, Mary Rigdon, Matteo Rizzolli, David Schmidtz and Simone Sepe. Besides the many hours spent in Sala Pia, the Summer School has been highlighted by faculty dinners and guided visits to the beautiful city of Rome for our special guests from the United States.
