European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) Midterm Conference in Law & Economics

The Institute of Law & Economics (ILE), Law School, Universität Hamburg is proud to host the Midterm Conference of the EMLE programme from 16 to 18 February 2023 in Hamburg.

We invite scholars from the fields of Law & Economics and Empirical Legal Studies to present their research at the academic conference on 17 February 2023.

The academic conference on 17 February 2023 will start at 9:00 and last until 15:00. The conference will include a keynote lecture in the morning and will conclude with a formal conference dinner. The final conference programme will be available at the end of January 2023.

There are no conference fees or other costs for conference speakers to attend the academic programme. In addition, ILE will provide complimentary refreshments and lunch during the conference.

Call for Papers

 

Conference Venue

The Academic Conference Sessions and the Graduation Ceremony will take place in the main building of the Universität Hamburg (Address: Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1).

The Conference Dinner will take place at “Schöne Aussichten” (Address: Gorch-Fock-Wall 4). The venue can be reached by food (approx. a 10 mins. walk).

Conference Fee (including lunch, dinner and refreshments):

  • Graduates, alumni and guests € 55,-
  • EMLE staff € 95,-

If graduates bring a guest, we kindly ask you to make another payment in your name and in your price range.

Please inform the organiser mtm23info@emle.org of any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.

 

Payments are to be made by February 1, 2023.

The EMLE&Beyond Session on February 17 will give students and graduates of the EMLE programme the opportunity to get into contact with company representives from the EMLE Associate Members as well as the opportunity to hear about possible future career opportunities from their fellow Alumni EMLE students.
